Details: Application for Approval of Experiments Using Radioactive Samples [Form 34]

Deadline: designated date (within 14 days after the proposal is approved, in principle)

JASRI’s Committee on Radiation Safety in User Experiments will review the radiation safety issues of your experiments regardless of the form or quantity of the radioactive samples (including internationally controlled materials) to be used. Submit an Application for Approval of Experiments Using Radioactive Samples by email to JASRI Safety Office by the designated date.
If the committee determines that your safety measures, including sealing methods, are inadequate, the committee will request that you improve your experimental method or devices. Your understanding and cooperation will be greatly appreciated.

For continuing experiments for proposals approved by the committee within the past three years, an application for exemption from committee review is possible (Form 34-2, from 2023A).
