Temporary Call for 2024A Proposals for BL39XU

Considering the beamline refurbishment situation, Japan Synchrotron Radiation Research Institute (JASRI) suspended the call for proposals for BL39XU in 2024A. However, we glad to announce that BL39XU is now ready to invite proposals in 2024A. Interested parties are encouraged to apply. Please see below for more details.

1．Types of Proposals Available

Proprietary Proposals
Non-Proprietary Priority Proposals

*Please read the instruction carefully in “General Proposals and Graduate Student Proposals Intended to Be Reviewed in the Industrial Application Field” for its peculiar conditions if you want your proposal reviewed in the “Industrial Application” Field.

3．Research Period and Number of Available Shifts

Approx. 45 shifts from mid-July to late July 2024, tentative
NOTE: Available shifts are subject to change depending on the Beamline situation.

4．Submission Deadline

Wednesday, May 8, 2024, 10:00 am (Japan time)

Submit your proposal application online from the User Information website (UI site).

Attention:
　To apply for this temporary call, you must select “2024A-add” as the Term when creating an online application.

– The same basic rules as for 2024A proposals will apply to users. Click here for details.
– Due to the Beamline situation, available equipment or measurement methods may be limited. Please ask the Beamline Scientists if your experiments are available.
