Temporary Server Shutdown and Website Unavailable (August 5 evening – August 6 JST)

In an effort to serve you better, the SPring-8/SACLA will be undergoing a scheduled power outage for maintenance during the following period:

From August 5, 4:30 pm to August 6, 9:00 pm, 2022 JST (UTC+9).

The User Information Website will be unavailable to users during this period.
There is a possibility that it will be behind schedule, depending on the work situation.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.

Proposal Application

“Proposal Application”, “Notification of Completion of Beamtime”, “Experiment Summary Report” and “User Information My page Login” will be also unavailable during the maintenance.
Please save the application being created before the maintenance.

The Office will be closed from August 6 to August 7 (all day).

Others

The entrance card reader system

The entrance card reader system will be shut down (exclude some doors that for examination) during the following period:
August 6, from 5:00 am to 6:00 pm.
( – August 7, 6:00 pm, if the power outage will be rescheduled on August 7)

Radiation Controlled Area

Almost doors to the radiation controlled area will be closed during the following period:
August 6, from 5:00 am to 6:00 pm.
( – August 7, 6:00 pm, if the power outage will be rescheduled on August 7)

OA Network

OA network will be unavailable due to the scheduled power outage.
Downtime: August 5, 6:00 pm – August 6, 7:00 pm
( – August 7, 7:00 pm, if the power outage will be rescheduled on August 7)
If instrument failure occur after the power outage, the network down might continue until August 8.

Guest House

Please note the following points if you stay in the guest house on August 6 and August 7.
Electricity will be cut August 6, from 5:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Water will be cut August7, from 9:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

*Although the power outage will be scheduled on August 6,
in case of unfavorable weather such as a typhoon, it will be conducted
on August 7 instead.

1.Electrical equipment (Air conditioner, refrigerator, hot water, bathroom etc.) in the guest rooms is not available.
2.Elevators are not available of all buildings.
3.Automatic casher and credit cards are not available.

Cafeteria and Convenience Store

Following period is unavailable.
Cafeteria: From August 6 to August 7 (all day), August 8(breakfast time)
Convenience Store: From August 6 to August 7 (all day)
ATM: From August 5, 2:00 pm to August8 12:00 pm
