Network Settings for Windows 10

１．Turn on Wi-Fi-enabled device.

２．Open the options windows for the network.

Click “Windows key” and “Settings.”

３．In the “Settings” window, click “Network & Internet.”

４．Select Wi-Fi and click. If the “Status” is “Off”, click “Turn Wi-Fi On.” 

５．Select “SP8-GUEST” and click “Connect.”

６． Enter the pre-shared key in the text box and click “Next.”

*The pre-shared key is available at the User Administration Division/Guest House Front Desk. 

７．Click “No.”

８． Open your web browser (e.g., Safari, Firefox, etc.) and go to the SPring-8 website (http://www.spring8.or.jp), where you will be directed to the login page of the SPring-8 Wireless LAN System.

Username： 7-digit SPring-8 user card ID number (including 0)
Password： password you created during the user registration

You should now be able to use a web browser, email, or any other application that requires a network connection.

※If you have trouble with the connection…

Select “Proxy” and click. If the “Status” is ON, click “Turn proxy OFF.”
