Safety Manual for Handling Chemicals (Please read before your visit)

This manual provides, health and safety information and the rules for facility users engaged in chemical experiments in order to ensure the safety of research conducted at SPring-8 / SACLA.
All users are required to read this manual before visiting SPring-8/SACLA.

Chemical Sample Preparation Room

The Chemical Sample Preparation Room ( d共1, previously Sample Preparation Room 34IN) is located immediately south of Door D1 of the Storage Ring building. The room is equipped with utilities such as draft chambers, electronic balances, etc., and are available 24 hours a day. Please check here for more information.

Attention

All users conducting chemical experiments must submit the all chemicals information related which you measure, such as properties, risks safety measures, and results of risk assessments to Japan Synchrotron Radiation Research Institute (JASRI). The required procedures must be completed by the specified deadline.
