STEP7 Abstract/Experimental Details/Publications

On the Abstract page selected from “Menu” > “Move to,” you are required to enter the significance, purpose, features, expected research results, the reason why you need SPring-8, and preparation status of the proposed research. 

On the Experimental Details page from “Menu” > “Move to,” you are required to provide experimental details, reasons for your choice of beamline, energy/wavelength, and how you calculated the number of shifts required. 

On the Publications page from “Menu” > “Move to,” you are required to list the project leader’s publications associated with the proposed research. (You can enter the data using the “List of Related Publications” button.)

For system-related reasons, there is a word limit for each free-text field as specified below.

    • Word limit: Japanese 600 characters, English 270 words
• Experimental details
  • Experimental details

    • Word limit: Japanese 300 characters, English, 140 words
  • Energy/wavelength
    • Word limit: Japanese 300 characters, English 135 words
  • How you calculated the overall beamtime requested
    • Word limit: Japanese 2,000 characters, English 900 words
• Publications
  • List of related publications
    • Word limit: Japanese 2,000 characters, English 900 words
      NOTE: Three publications maximum. Each box has a limit of 650 Japanese characters or 300 English words.
